AFP-Iowa Statement on Tim Walz’s Visit to Iowa

Des Moines, IA – Today, Governor Tim Walz kicked off his town hall tour in Iowa, bringing with him the same failed vision Iowans have already rejected. Americans for Prosperity-Iowa (AFP-IA) views this visit as a political stunt, distracting from the real issues Iowans care about.

AFP-IA State Director Tyler Raygor released the following statement:

“Iowans made it clear–they reject the out-of-touch policies Tim Walz brings to the table. His track record of empty promises, economic instability, and government overreach do not resonate well with the hardworking citizens of our state. AFP-IA is focused on driving real solutions, not pushing a failed vision.

“At Americans for Prosperity, we’re committed to delivering solutions on the issues that matter, like renewing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), which will fuel economic growth and put more money back into the pockets of Iowans. We must focus on policies that drive growth, innovation, and prosperity–not ones that push Iowa backward. It’s time to turn the page on Tim Walz’s outdated agenda and champion changing the narrative for the better.”
